I think this is a rather interesting way to do a gooey merge. Letting the mass mix slowly, so the two can see their creation rather than just, get all mixed up and *ding* "now we've merged." Sort of sculpting together....

I do a weekly drawing where I randomly choose two animals and a theme and take an hour to draw it. My followers know them as my AACH drawings.

This latest one, I was told, has some serious @Unclekage vibes. Or at least, he's the one using the rifle and there can only be one.
