I imagine that’ll be especially noticeable when I do my next analysis—for if Shiki is everything, then Joshua is nothing.

…at least, nothing concrete.

I’m doing these to share the way they’ve hit my world, but I’m open to different interpretations of their nuances. So… yeah~

If Shiki *had* shown up in NEO in an outfit that was more “high fashion” or felt like what Eri would wear, I’d honestly be worried about her. But she doesn’t need to do that anymore, because she’s embraced who she is.

Shiki’s outfit in NEO shows how comfy she is with herself.

Shiki is everything wrapped up in one package. She’s open and friendly with people, insecure about herself sometimes, can get flustered easily when embarrassed, joke right back with Neku, and still have the confidence to tell someone off when they’re wrong.
