I won this picture in a kiriban--and boy, did Ponah deliver!~♪♫♥

Despite this being drawn 5 years ago, this continues to be one of my top favorites. It's probably the piece that inspired me to start this tweet thread and work on a new ref for him.

With some pressure, I finally made a new ref for Eksarahn - the 2nd Edition.

With this iteration I gave him brighter colors, including a vibrant purple for the eyes~♪♥

Calling this the 1.5 version of Eksarahn, as this reference turned out half-baked. I didn't even bother including the tail in this piece. >n<

Regardless, this was to demonstrate brighter yellows and deeper blue as was originally intended.

@Smatterbrain ...come to think of it...it might've played a role in subconsciously influencing the design in one of my latest characters~ ⌐v⌐

@Smatterbrain Ooof, didn't see this before~ I think I'd have to go with Sliggoo simply for the alien/monster-esque appeal...

That same day, I used the previous pic as a poster on my dA profile. Which, in turn, inspired one of my dearest friends to draw my character based off of that!

Now, this is one that caught me by surprise!
