Bulgore, the beast of the Redrocks. Cold-blooded, their hide absorbs heat as well as protecting them. While adults are untouchable, they take decades to grow, and their young require immense energy to nurture. As such they are extremely aggressive in order to keep them safe.

The thunderous scourge of the Lightsands, Belrast char their prey with lightning before eating. Sensitive to electricity, and thus a danger to any sources of it.

Fishlike creatures that live in waterlogged areas. While their body fins are somewhat useless on land, being remnants of their newborn state, in emergencies they can head for water and swim away from land predators.

Since I've introduced Calo now, here are some sneakpeeks of him in my WIP comic, Little Iron Flame. I've been working on it for 3 years now, and it's about halfway done... I can't wait to finish it :D

The eye is actually the very tip of its' tongue. When swallowing, the tongue retracts. Their body is covered in reflective pads, which dazzle predators as it rolls around frantically.
