Today 3/29/2022 I'm showing of a vintage trashy #pulp "Rocco's Niece" by Adrian Marsh. Published by Avon #books in 1971, it features a #RobertMcGinnis cover with a naked woman in red, thigh high boots relaxing on a rolling leather ottoman.

I've been trying to find this Spanish-language version of Johanna Lindsey's A Gentle Feuding, but so far no luck. If I ever do get my hands on this beauty, it will be the prize jewel of my collection.

@RAZ0RFIST @PulpCovers Romance novels may not be "high art" but their covers used to be oil & acrylic masterpieces. Now, they're cartoons that pale in comparison.

@ArtOfTheClinch I have th original 1979 version by Jordi Penalva. It's in such pristine condition, I just lightly skimmed through the book, I didn't want to make a crease. Hero is a total manho and it's the first romance I read to have the hero & heroine use the F word as bedroom talk

@ArtOfTheClinch I think the artist here is the famous movie poster designer Roger Kastel. He illustrated the stepback for Ladd's White Rose which also featured Steve Sandalis and the style is very similar.
