I really disagree with consensus that the modern 2010s comic book #Supergirl being an interesting character if anything, she comes across as too much of a modern day comic angsty character for my liking.

The Lupin III manga gave Inspector Zenigata a partner called Melon Cop. The 1977 Lupin III: Part II anime featured an episode that loosely adapted Melon Cop's first appearance, but with the character changed to a female investigator from France named Detective Melon Ganimard.

@XiranJayZhao Even Disney knows how bad this film. Last year, they released a graphic novel called Disney Mulan's Adventure Journal: The Palace of Secrets, which takes place after the first movie and is frankly a much better sequel.

With Superman, it was Donner who insisted the subject of the comic book superhero should be treated "straight," giving respect to the genre's particular conventions and tone, rather than the "camp" tone that was planned for the film.

The result is a timeless cinematic classic.

Wonder Woman is many things, she's an Amazon warrior trained for war, she's a superhero who goes out of her way to find non-lethal means and shows kindness to children and an ambassador of peace.

Another plus sized detective, Nero Wolfe. Though not as physically active as the other previously mentioned plus sized sleuths as most of the physical work is done by his assistant Archie Goodwin.
