This was apparently the same year?? Just a couple of months later? WHAT. Anyway, after this, I didn't really touch BS again until 2018 (there's two sketches in 2016 and that's it).

SECOND TO LAST PIECE. 2013. Iori vs. Kane (not a canon fight anymore)

Iori in his super basic-because-the-artist-got-lazy outfit. I actually do like some of the effects I did in this one, even though I was still really struggling with my style at the time

So, back in the day, my DA audience shipped Iori x Alex hardcore and this happened.

I actually do have an AU where they are A Thing. Not romantically 'cause Alex is aro, but yeah. It's been a fun little side story to explore (don't know if I'll ever share it anywhere though) 😂
