Sohn Won-pyung’s “Almond” was the most checked-out book at public libraries in Korea last year, proving to be especially popular among women in their 40s. Sales of the novel skyrocketed after @BTS_twt were seen reading it on their reality show in September last year.

Kyobo Bookstore (one of the largest bookstore chain in 🇰🇷) said that 'Almond' by Won Pyung Sohn was the best-selling Korean novel for the 20/01/01 - 20/10/30 period. @BTS_twt members reading the novel during 'In The SOOP' was one of the factors that influenced its high sales.

Murrz, a famous webtoonist, posted a story on Line Webtoon about her life as a K-pop Stan and shared that she fell for #BTS after watching 'Fire' MV. She also said that Jimin is her bias and posted the same on Insta with #mybiasjimin.
