People need to understand that regardless of the quality, animation uses a large amount of time and resources. Having "simpler" art style doesn't necessarily mean lazy or cheap. If done right, even simple art styles can have charm and complexity to them. And better animations. https://t.co/BreFZ7rRwk

Ehhh. If they're gonna change models, I feel they should at least make them more in line with Uekawa's 2D art. Those are where I feel Modern Sonic is depicted the best.

@CometX_ing @_Idont_kNo @AltSoggypickles @AfterLi51707799 Even though Sega acknowledged a Dreamcast era in Gens, that doesn't mean there's a separate Sonic for it. They've always advertised that the Modern design debuted in Sonic Adventure in 1998. And aside being an older art style, Dreamcast and Modern Sonic are literally the same.

@sandysandersand @AltSoggypickles @_Idont_kNo @AfterLi51707799 Classic Sonic at least has more substantial differences in design and art style to give some merit to him being a separate incarnation. With “Dreamcast Sonic”, he literally looks no different from Modern Sonic.
