For the fun highlights, I mostly place them for aesthetic reasons and use light yellows or oranges with Add(glow) or Overlay

To finish with the highlights, I have the ambiance and fun highlights!
For the ambiance highlights, I pick a color that goes with the light source (here, the blue flames)

Then, I pick the color that white became and place it where I want to shade the marked areas. I then put it as multiply (you can also use overlay for a different experience)

To begin with, I apply my regular colors and proceed to add as many filter layers as needed to get a vibe I'm comfortable with (use comand/control+U to play around with the colors)
