Hawkman has had such a complex (and convoluted) history but the hero remains one of my favorite DC characters. He set the bar for all the winged “birdmen” of comicdom.
Do you have a favorite Hawkman series, run, or appearance?

I’ve forgotten more than I remember about this book, but I loved this iteration of Hawkman and Hawkgirl at the time. I’m going to have to dig these out and have another read.

Do you like Spider-Woman’s 1st origin story? Evolved from a spider by the High Evolutionary; known as Arachne; connected to Modred the Mystic; head covered with a mask; created a sense of dread & disgust in the men she met!
Or do you prefer the revised origin?
Marvel’s fill-in, stock stories & reprints were used as filler to cover for the “dreaded deadline doom!” Even though these retreads and inventory stories surprised me at the spinner rack, they remain among my favorites in my collection!
