Y6 have started their airt work in the style of @JackieMorrisArt inspired by #thelostwords by @RobGMacfarlane and @RSPBEngland and will continue to develop their poems this week @BradfordMuseums

Today, we have thought in Year 5 about the Crucifixion and the pain Jesus endured to save us from our sins. Somebody asked why we call it "Good Friday" and this led us to talk about Jesus' sacrifice being the biggest good deed anybody ever did for humankind. #EasterWeek

Y6 commemorated Armistice Day through exploring symbols of peace whilst considering the impact of war upon Baildon and how they are remembered through War Memorials and The Ferniehurst Dell before producing their own peace art @Artsmarkaward @BaildonCouncil #LestWeForget

What a great response and creativity from our pupils for our #RainbowOfHope art activity. We've had loads of colourful ideas including @LEGO_Group , chalk, window designs and other crafts to help raise spirits and thank #NHSworkers and other #keyworkers keep them coming

All the Year 6 children interpreted the picture in their own way whilst applying taught 3D drawing skills #primaryart #artinschools
