I loved it and the continuous thread of slipping in LN references from popular works was an enjoyable aspect. The duo's dynamic is entirely felt and someday soon I look forward to more out of these morons, Higashira included. She was Best Girl.

It was an overall awe-inspiring arc that served as a monument full of many storytelling highs more than lows. Ichigo and Rukia's progressions as characters both dealing with grief as their connection paid off.

The betrayals and schemes concocted by Aizen made him an enticing mastermind. He who orchestrated every single event proves how cunning he really is, his image as a kind-hearted captain proving to be a farce. It examined his cold-blooded malice through rose-tinted perceptions.
