Kara no Kyoukai is a difficult series to recommend but once you dive into either form of media it becomes an incredibly thought-provoking experience.
Shiki is a great protagonist, as she grapples with philosophical debates between her detachment and reconciliation with humanity.

Catching up with Kono Oto Tomare. One of the most well written shoujo/music based sports dramas around. Characters are an instantly infectious presence.
Can't believe it's already been 10 years. It's gained more of a presence over time and I'm glad for that as it's really good.
