Betsy's manner of speaking is heavy on early 1900s slang, and she has an incredibly heavy Jersey accent.Her design was, in it's initial stage, also influenced by fashion trends from around the 50s. I eventually leaned more into my own aesthetic, which is where she is now.
Maev and Jo are lovers, and started their lab together. Jo built her own body and had Maev transplant her brain into it, unlike most other robots where Jo builds the body and does the transplant process on her own. She could not transplant her own brain for obvious reasons.
Dr.Caligari was one of my first OCs ever, I made her when I was 8 and she was meant to be like a self-insert character for me to draw doing stupid shit w/ my friends' OCs. She was originally intended to be an irken like from zim, but I made her colours batshit and she's too tall.
