Disufiroa is a powerful elder dragon that is often considered to be the strongest monster in G-rank (That became debatable in later updates). Although Disufiroa isn't considered a Forbidden Monster (aka Black Dragon), its strength far surpasses most other elder dragons.

Once they finished repairing the Large Exploration Ship, the hunters took to the sky once again as they left that region behind. However, not too far away from where they fought and slew Shantien, they stumbled upon an evil-looking barren wasteland.

Here's weapons (Great Sword, Hammer, Sword & Shield, Heavy Bowgun) that can be crafted with Shantien's materials. Shantien's weapons have an element known as Tenshou (天翔), which is a combination of Fire (30%), Water (100%), and Thunder (70%).

Originally it was thought that Shantien only controlled two different elements, but it was later found that it third elemental sac in its body. This third sac is a fire sac that allows it to manipulate the fire element.

Without the creation of the Large Exploration Ship, this elder dragon would've never been discovered by the Guild. Shantien is highly aggressive in nature and will repeatedly attack any airships that enter its domain.

Due to Mezeporta wanting to explore new lands and discover new monsters, a flying vessel known as the Large Exploration Ship is built. This colossal airship allows hunters to travel vast distances across the sky at high altitudes.
