@MattDraperYT close second is, of course, Greg Capullo's Batman. I don't have anything else to say other than his art is phenomenal.
Does anyone have any more examples of the kind of modern comic art where, the inking heavily resembles classic comics but the colouring takes advantage of modern software, stuff like that?

He generally writes Batman much more loosely and less stone-faced than say, Nolan's Batman, or hell Arkham Batman. It really works whilst still remaining very much in-character.
