OK so 2009 was pretty lit.

Bayonetta. Nuff said.

Brutal Legend was totally original and insane.

Resident Evil 5 is one of the best co-op games ever made. (Not scary though)

Assassin's Creed 2 just had me enthralled when I played it.

2010

Adventure games! Fun to play when designed right. Awful when designed right. Telltale tended to do a good job, and Sam and Max was damn good.

@mickssecretlair My refs from newest to oldest. Started off a little generic, and bit by bit just been growing with me. Latest version I wanted to go all in on him being a cinnamon bear, and I wanted him to have more markings, beyond just the differentiation between hair and fur.
