I unearthed some of my super early Dina concepts 😭 from late 2016-early 2017. Little baby 😭😭😭

Some of the rougher sketches to work out posing and potentially covering the brachiosaurus with ivy. Also I knew I was never going to get all those birds but you gotta dream big, ya know? This was my one shot to design a museum. I savored every moment 😂💖

CW: blood and death
A bunch of story pitch images. These images were all done fairly quickly just to set the mood and help the writing team pitch the story to the rest of the team very early on in production. Sort of like storyboards. (16/20)

These first 3 are some of the first images I did on the project. Exploration of scar kids before the story pitch was final and before they were called the Seraphites. The last image was a pitch for a moment in the cut Seraphite village sequence. (12/20)

Other designs for the farm house: a toy for potato, some local plants they’d have around, and I didn’t know where else to put these so here are some kids from Jackson costume designs 😂 (11/20)

If I could go back in time and show 13 year old me one thing I had accomplished, it’d be these sheets of color and pattern variation between Jackson and Seraphite horses. 🤠
