I've created an Emoji Lad.
And I don't fully know why.
But I love them.

@heresvix I'm from Canada and my mascot is a beetroot. The boots are the leaves!
I picked a beetroot because I wanted to do a let's play channel where I "beet games" and the simple design with the horn(?) appealed to me.
They used to be a purple-red, but I tend to make them pink nowadays.
