@artofmmignola Huge shot in the dark, but any chance you might have fun drawing my little Viking? His comic launches in May and it would be amazing to see you draw the character.

The Beorn cover that never was.

You know, I hadn't thought much about what my Beorn comic covers would look like. Figured the same approach as the prints I make. But it would be awesome to get good at doing pictures like this. I think I could dig that.

Well, solicits have been sent for Beorn Issue One. Set to release May 4th right before Free Comic Book Day, when you can also pick up the Red5 issue featuring a Beorn short story!

I'm a little excited about it all , so I'm sure I'll be bugging you a lot more as it gets closer ;)

They wanted them in a wagon scene ala Calvin and Hobbes. Speaking my language :)

Hard to get those light sky and water blues in the scan. I am really happy with how this one came out. Loved getting to unabashedly channel my Watterson influences :)

I could also do some prints of the trolls I've finished.

(I could paint the inked one quickly enough to have it ready, too)
