Here’s something I haven’t shown yet: earlier this year, I got to illustrate a @PineCoveCamps Bible study! Concerning the tale of a good shepherd, this one stretched me: I did it all digitally, and I also learned a lot about, well... sheep! 🐑

OK here’s the thing about the first part of the run: Simonson is plotting on *multiple* levels. He’s got the famous Surtur build-up (mega-arc), but also starts with a four issue mini-arc in the Beta Ray Bill saga (indirectly caused by Surtur in the first place!)

With the print release of WAKING LIFE two days away, I wanted to show off some more art. This is a pinup by the ever-talented Danny Flores, who I’ve known since we were students in Baylor’s Studio Art program, and I’m incredibly privileged that he contributed a piece to the book!
