This was the first ever art commission I painted. I was about 17 and got paid £20 for it.

I remember being reasonably happy with the result but felt I got paid too much at the time!

If I compared it to what other 17 y/os draw online now I would have given up a career in art

Interesting fact- I was once asked to work on the official cover art for Dragon Ball Z: Budokai on PS2. The deal fell through once the publishers here in the UK learned all licenced DB artwork needed to be specifically drawn by Bandi Japan's designated art team
