A pic I drew in 2011 that in spite of time I hold dear.
It's pretty much about the apparent beauty of blossoming, of womanhood, feminity, and growing all while it's somehow wrapped with pain, but even that pain must be faced with grace.

I wanted to do something special after reaching 300+ followers on IG.
I wanted to keep it a simple sketch to post it quickly but then I got excited with trying to imitate a watercolor effect layering and meshing layers of shading.

I did this by scanning a pencil drawing and messing with effects to see how it came out, I think a digital line work is cleaner but I like the effect either way.
