I can have a 5/6 summer with bubbly cola ears, fancy glasses, and parts that are WAY different than the normal parts... for .02 eth. This is so much cooler than the Japanese parts, and even most mystic parts, but why is this the case? I feel my collection was devalued by this. 14

So I chose this guy, who lost his yen eye, and the other really awesome part about him was he had sushi on his tail. Well, unfortunately the sushi has been changed, and doesn't look much different than the normal part. I care less now because the things I liked are gone. 12/X

Now lets compare to other mystic parts...
Regular bamboo versus golden bamboo.
Egg shell versus golden shell.
Very big cosmetic differences here. You can actually tell that the axie is special, apart from the spacesuit. This is the kind of upgrade I want to see.

Behold the Origin art. I'm not even sure how these two are the same character. They look similar for sure, but the eyes are gone. I would say the trait name "insomnia" doesn't even make any sense. May as well just call it "clam shell eyebrows" because that's what it is.

This is the character I bought. This is the character I spent so much money on. The amount of time, energy, and resources that were sunk into developing something for the long term was basically a waste, because the defining feature of the mystic part, was gone.

He cost 26 eth at the time, roughly a little over $60,000, making him the #2 largest purchase after my house. After I bought him, I spent thousands of dollars on commissions from artists in the community. I really enjoyed developing the lore behind him. 3/X
