Now that my semester is winding down, it's time to choose my first "for pleasure" book of the summer! Which should I read first? (Poll Below)
I want to read for fun so bad right now but grad school got me like:
Graphic Novel Binge #3: {Mooncakes} by @AngrygirLcomics & @suzusaur! Werewolf Tam chases a horse demon back into town after years away. Local witch Nova is more than happy to help, and reconnect with her old friend. #booktwt #graphicnovel #paranormal #queer
Just Finished: {The Ghost Variations: One Hundred Stories} by Kevin Brockmeier. A collection of flash-fiction about ghosts. Stories span from cute and funny to philosophical and spooky. #booktwt #shortstories #flashfiction #ghosts #paranormal
Just Finished: {Her Body and Other Parties} by Carmen Maria Machado. A collection of short stories spanning scifi, horror, fantasy, and psychological realism. Very sexual, and very disturbing. #booktwt #shortstories #horror #queerlit #adult
Just Finished: {Persephone Station} by Stina Leicht! I heard “queer space opera” and was IN. Excellent group of diverse characters and worldbuilding! If you like badass characters, “alien” races, and fight sequences, this book is for you! #booktwt #queerlit #scifi #spaceopera
Just Finished: {Vampires in the Lemon Grove} by Karen Russell! Fantasy, suspense, magical realism, this collection of short stories has it all! It is an excellent blend of literary fiction and paranormal that is at times poignant and at times horrific. #shortstories #booktwt #lit
