Not long ago I read @michelleeb's "Mrs Hudson and Mary Watson Investigations" Holmes pastiche series and fell utterly in love with Mary and Martha.
I have way more wips of them but meanwhile here's an early sketch I did while trying to figure out my take on their character design

already have all my sherlock holmes art on tumblr, but i figured I'd bring these two to the other side as well! i was experimenting with a no-pressure-sensitivity brush here. the watson one is actually my current blog's pfp
