Well, can't compete wit @YoDanno on old timey Dragonlance/DnD (not that it's a competition), but it does make me want to post nostalgic stuff for Battletech, Star Trek, Dr Who, etc.
I frequently post Duane Loose stuff, but let's talk about David R Deitrick.
whom, I was pleasantly surprised to find out, was one the favorite comic characters of one of my friends & mentors, David R Deitrick.
I'd long known of David because of his Battletech and Star Trek RPG work, but this pretty well sealed the deal for us becoming internet pals.
wouldn't be til 2001, with Judd Winick and Mike McKone, in the Exiles that I would find a Marvel title I enjoyed as much as early Excalibur.
Probably didn't hurt they had Nocturne (Talia Wagner), aka the daughter of Nightcrawler and Scarlet Witch.
my top 4 favorite Macross Valkyries (note not ROBOTECH).
VF-2SS
YF-19
VF-2JA
VF-1J
While the VF-25 & later look awesome as Fighter & Gerwalk, their emaciated Victoria's Secret model Battroids make me want to vomit in my mouth.
sadly Post Evangelion mecha largely suck, IMO.
@jongrim13 nice to see he hasn't let himself go. For an older gent he's keeping in pretty good shape!
@MechFrog12 I run two.
IS: House Steiner. Most of the "good points" of House Davion societally, none of the rampant Imperialism. See also: Commando, Hatchetman, Zeus.
Clan: Goliath Scorpion. Middle Eastern Mysticism, Underdogs, Indiana Jones, see also how AWESOME a sandbox the Imperio is.
although I'm probably more infamous for this one
(plus my OG sketch, and a little side sketch)

Yeah Harmony Gold sucks a bag of [Insert Organ Here], everyone knows that.
That said? Without Robotech in the 80s, I would not have discovered Battletech, Macross, etc, and be doing what I do now. So still one of my favorite repaints I did for MWO, while teaching myself GIMP.
