Jared and Simon in the Spiderwick Chronicles are also some really good twins, especially since their older sister, Mallory, isn't left out in the family dynamic. and I actually really like Jude and Taryn in The Cruel Prince too. I guess Holly Black just writes good twins

Palom and Porom are only five in the OG game, so I give 'em a pass for dressing similar, especially when in the sequel and they're now 22 they dress completely different. They also have distinct personalities, and are treated like a regular brother and sister

Pretending to be your twin can work if the people you're fooling don't know you very well, or have never even met you. That can be really fun. Shakespeare's The Twelfth Night plays on this trope really well
