Have just come across this amazing illustration by Jane Tomlinson: 'Wildflowers not Weeds'. This is one of the core issues of our time. How do we convince our councils and other decision-makers, as well as local residents, that our precious native wildflowers are NOT weeds? 😏🌿

If we want to hold on to our dawn chorus, we need to hold on to our precious native trees, hedgerows, shrubs and wildflowers. 🐦🐦🐦

Interesting infographic. What do you make of this, guys? Am not an expert, but this looks worrying indeed. One thing's for sure, we're not doing anywhere near enough. Well, some of us are doing their best, but we need much more far-reaching systemic change. 🙁🌿

In nature, everything is connected.If we put down poisons like rat poison or slug pellets, we do a great deal of harm to wildlife. 😢 WE CAN LIVE IN HARMONY WITH NATURE, IF WE CHOOSE TO DO THINGS JUST A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENTLY. 😍🌿
