Sad as it would be, we'd eventually reach this scene here. Sunset knowing no longer being in the human world would upset the balance with her human counterpart and that sealing off the portal would dissipate the magic, would make the ultimate sacrifice.

Part 2, I believe had they made that Human Sunset special, we would've gotten a scene like this. Remember how Friendship Games had a deleted scene elaborating on the embalance of Sunset being there? This would've given us some closure.

To this day, what's the biggest sin EQG has done? Giving us an official design for Zephyr Breeze, a late S6 character, but not giving us an official EQG Moon Dancer, whom appeared a whole season earlier with more connections to Twilight.

Last part to this series, recall how Sunset stayed relatively younger as a human due to time passing slower there than in Equestria. Whole new realm of possibilities for G5 to pull off.

This guy. He's more or less our hope of G5 doing what G4 often failed at, making good male characters. If this series can have us love most male characters in general, it's a plus. No more Snips and Snails or Zephyr Breeze wannabes.
