@Lock_lights The artists literally put him on the high ground, he is literally putting himself ABOVE HER and talking to her smugly, this is like basic literature theming 101 lmfao. Even if you disagree on the execution being poor you have to recognize that that's what's going on here.

@Lock_lights It's his attitude, it's very out of character for Sonic to be so condescending when he's one of the most down to earth and straightforward characters there is. They literally had him looking down at Surge preaching at her with all the thematic subtlety of a Star Wars prequel.

Honestly when you think about it, Sonic Colours DS has to be canon, doesn't it? That's the only game that reintroduces Silver and Blaze to each other, and they know each other in later material. The mother wisp from DS is also in other material.
