@Lancer_RPG Wow I was expecting the SSC ORCHIS to be a challenge compared to the CALENDULA, but after I tore the original art down to the silhouette it just put itself right back together again.

@ricardojuchem @TheotimeGM Hi! I started editing Into the Breach sprites three and a half years ago for my first Lancer campaign, and it eventually turned into pixel art being a major part of my life. Still just doing Lancer sprites for now (https://t.co/JEZMhDHvMF), and the community has been amazing.
Getting this pose right for the @Lancer_RPG SPECTER NPC was a really fun challenge! I wanted to make it very humanoid to contrast with the ASSASSIN, but of course I still needed it to convey stealthy predator energy. (Also I feel like I'm running out of good color schemes lol)
The BARRICADE asked me the question, "How will you draw a mech that looks like it can extrude a chunk of hard material larger than itself on demand," and I think I nailed it. Also, this marks the halfway point of my project to make a sprite for every @Lancer_RPG NPC mech!
Drew some valuable inspiration from @thebadbucket's artwork for @Lancer_RPG, and I'm pretty sure I have his unbelievably charming mech designs to thank for how well this Bastion turned out. I think it's one of my best ones so far!
