I still like this panel a lot, though.

There are a LOT of things that I wish I had handled differently in Book I of DotL, and that I've have to let go for the sake of getting it to print, but BOY am I glad I had a chance to redraw this Lyra face in particular.

And just because someone out there will need me to say it: Gwen's independence is not a trait that will be portrayed as villainous. There are going to be plenty of other things that are actually bad to hate her for.
