Three types of horse armor from about the same period,obviously different in style.I like both very much. I sometimes like horse armor over human armor lol.
For those who don't know:
sometimes samurai horse armor is rawhide(dog chew)which is relatively light

These heavy helmets were used by the famous cuirassiers, and their three-quarter armor weighed 30kg to 40kg! In the British Civil War, a Parliamentarians was hit twice in the helmet by an enemy pistol at 0 distance, and was only dizzy afterwards😵🤭😆
