You guys have no idea how excited I am after seeing the teaser for Frozen 2, I got literal chills from it like seriously. Did you guys see the freaking sea in the begining that's crazy!! Also the darker tone just yessss 😍

(flipped a lot during painting and forgot to flip it to the right side, sorry!)
Last one! I did the best I could and I can't wait to try this again sometime. Learnt a ton & it was great practice.
Now onwards to animating until May :')

Day 18 of 1hr portrait values painting study
I wasn't able to softly blend the values on her face on this day and it was slowly geting to the point of feeling an art burnout. So after this study, there's only 1 more and afterwards I decided to finish it for now. Health first.

I am so so so proud of this study. The values are spot on and I was even able to get the texture of the skin to look right!!
I think I was in the right set of mind while doing this one so I was able to concentrate on properly studying.

I really love this one?? Okay basically if an image has a lot of interesting/sharp shapes it's so much easier to figure out positions. Try it yourself! Find contrasting images with lots of shapes inside them, it can help a ton. :)

@KoffiiKiitty You have such an adorable stlye?? Also if you ever feel like it, you can dm me and we can chat. c: Here's a character called Taxi - he used to be a scientist who made hybrids between animals & vehicles but due to an accident he became a hybrid himself, not remembering his past.

I was missing doing Dr. Who related artworks so I did a study of David Tennant's face. Not the biggest win but I got to observe and see loads of new things about his face so that's a plus. 😊

Okay so I really love how this one came out?? I think photographs with really well defined shapes help me grasp the study much better! (not to mention clear contrast)
What do you notice when doing studies?

@Embers_Art Yess more of these, I love finding incredible artists to follow. <3 Hello, I draw very anime-inspired works and sometimes I'm crazy enough to do monthly drawing challenges like the portrait studies right now, hope you like it. I'd love to get to know more people!! ^^
