While I was on a Silver Surfer kick, I did my own 11 x 17 color drawing of him with his Step-daddy Galactus for Father's Day. @Marvel #silversurfer #Galactus #HappyFathersDay
Needless to say, I love embellishing old Jack Kirby pencils. Whenever I find a drawing of his online, I get the urge to ink it. Here's a Thor con sketch I found that Jack did back in 1974, which I inked and colored on 9 x 12 paper. @Marvel @thorofficial
#FlashbackFriday- From My Art Archives: From 1979, this was my very first Iron Man commission. Drawn between issues #117 to #125, it was done on 15" x 20" poster board, with red & yellow pencil colors on the central figure. I can't recall who commissioned it. @Marvel @Iron_Man
#throwbackthursday From My Art Archives: Here's a interesting commission from 2006, where I recreate the cover of Iron Man #126 FOUR TIMES on one cover! This page was beautifully colored by Ian Sokoliwski. @Marvel @Iron_Man
UPDATE: Here's the color version of the Gladiator Superman vs the Silver Surfer page from last October, rendered by Dennis Lehmann. I inked this page, over the pencils of my dear pal Ron Lim, which was commissioned by Derek Crabbe. @Marvel @DCComics @Superman #Silversurfer
This concept art for the Stark-X armor was for my unpublished version of Armor Wars 2 from 1990. Unfortunately, it never happened because I left Marvel, shortly after pitching it, to join the Valiant Comics start-up. @Marvel @Iron_Man #ArmorWars
Here's something that I believe has never happened before! Marvel just released this issue of "Marvel Snapshots: Captain Marvel #1", using an unpublished Ms.Marvel #19 cover by the late Dave Cockrum & me, originally done way back in 1978. I was blown away! @Marvel #CaptainMarvel
