#NowWatching Excalibur (1981) Dir: John Boorman. Fantastic cast: Gabriel Byrne,Helen Mirren,Liam Neeson,Patrick Stewart,Ciarán Hinds,Nicol Williamson & Nigel Terry. Looking forward to taking @WrongReel @WilliamScurry to visit some of the locations used in the film in a few weeks.

Saturday afternoon film.Forty Guns(1957)
Dir: Sam Fuller. Staring the brilliant Barbara Stanwyck who was 49 at the time and did her own stunts after her double turned yeller.Also Fuller does one of the longest tracking shots up to that time of over 3 mins.A classic. #NowWatching

Part 2 of tonight's double bill. Going down the classic route. Raw Deal (1948) Dir: Anthony Mann and staring one of my favourites Claire Trevor along with Raymond Burr and Dennis O'Keefe. Never seen this but Anthony Mann directed some of my favourite films so have high hopes. 😀

Decided to take up painting for the first time in about 40 years. Self portrait in enamel paint on wooden panel(only materials I have). It looks like how I've been feeling these last few months.
