KH showed me that video games can not only tell stories, but that stories can impact you and resonate with you on a deep level. It got me into stories with dark tones, complex narratives, and large interconnected stories.

Roxas and Xion taught me that it's ok to be scared of change and death. Aqua showed me that you mustn't succumb to the darkness around you. These characters and their journeys mean so much to me and I'm glad that I got to get to know these characters for almost a decade.

no matter what darkness you face, there's always light to guide you through it. Sora is who I aspire to be. Riku helped me get through on of the most challenging years of my life and helped me understand myself as a queer person.

#KH20thanniversary Happy anniversary to my favorite franchise ever. Kingdom Hearts means so much to me, both as a creative and as a person. It has inspired me with what kind of stories I want to tell one day, and it inspired to become a better person and to remember that
