Bleach by Tite Kubo - This is another series that influenced me while I was getting into comics and thinking about pursuing it as a career. There's good and theres bad but you gotta admit when its good ... its GOOD. Plus I'll always have soft spot for Kubo's style.
The Magic Fish by @Trungles - if you haven't read this then you go read it right now. What are you doing? go and then come back and talk to me about it. I love this story!!!! (Plus Trung's art is GORGEOUS)
My Love Mix Up by Aruko and Wataru Hinekure this adorable series is fluffy and nice in the best ways. What do you do when the girl you like likes someone else? What if you fall in love with him while trying to be a good wingman? (this was rec'd to me by @kellhound)
One Punch Man by One and redrawn by Yusuke Murata. I say redrawn because this use to be a webcomic also drawn by One. I just love the story in the comic but I also love the story behind the comic.
Twin Cities by @joepi - This is a recent release but its so good!! Jose is so great at making you fall in love with characters but also falling in love with the world they draw! Look at those backgrounds!! Like AHHH! I feel like I'm there!
Mapmakers and the Lost Magic by @CameronChittock and @mandallin GUYS - this is only book 1 in a series but I WANT BOOK 2 ASAP that's how good this story is. A story about a kid stuck with two choices and neither can guarantee happiness but one is giving it a chance to happen!
Slam Dunk by Takehiko Inoue! I just read it recently and its so goooood - I honestly feel like its a great gateway into basketball but sportsmanga in general. It's a little older so some references are older but still a great read! (ALSO Inoue's art goes 9000 thru the series)
Guys, I gotta be real. I got a copy of Twin Cities by @joepi and seriously the art is fantastic, the backgrounds, the character acting and then the story! SO GOOD! Family is complicated and I feel like most of us would be able to relate (even if you're not a twin ;D) Buy it!!!!
