If it is a reference to how he and Nanami are the only siblings on the council together, it might explain why he inexplicably has the motif on both sleeves in this shot:

Like the color of his uniform, the angular motif on the cuffs of his sleeves sets Touga apart from the rest of the student council. Not only is he the student council president, but he also has a different position in the dueling games as the Ends of the World's helper.

Touga's sleeves are also really interesting because there is an angular motif on the cuffs, instead of the simple cuffs that the rest of the Student Council has:

Seriously, look at the way those angles point at his face. It's like they're saying "Look at this total loser! He just made an absolute fool out of himself!" And I think that's amazing, since there's nothing I love more than watching my faves suffer😊

The colorful motif seems to be on both of their non-dominant hands, based on these pictures (which also highlight some more of the similarities between the two of them 🍵)

As I promised at the end of the last thread, I'm going to start off by talking about how Juri and Saionji's sleeves have the same motif on them (in different colors):

Juri has big round cinnamon bun epaulets, which look really nice with her tightly wound curly hair. They’re bulky and not particularly traditional, but they still register as epaulets. UNLIKE MIKI'S NONSENSE SHOULDER BOARDS (no I will never be over those)
