I LOVE making stories through my paintings, but did you know I have a brother? His passion is telling the stories themselves and often he asks me to illustrate his book covers.
This is for his upcoming book:
"Eternal Payment, Season Two - The Price of Brimstone"
@devin_mccamey
This is the first full image I made with @Procreate.
I went through several ideas to see how well it could render skin, light, how to mess with colors and values, and I think I can get used to it.
I'm not as fast as I'd like to be, but I bet that'll improve with practice.
For my fellow artists out there:
Do you work countless hours to bring your pieces to perfection?
Or are you driven by a constant flow of ideas that you need to work on so you're more willing to call a piece finished to start the next one?
IF YOU WANT TO GET INTO DIGITAL ART BUT ONLY HAVE A PHONE...
I was just contacted by someone who has been drawing on their phone with their finger (pretty good too). If you're in this same position, there is actually a cheap tablet that can work with your phone (1/2)
Ok, to all my new followers "HOWDY! WELCOME!"
But also, where as I appreciate the cool suggestive to draw other destiny characters in the franchise, I would like to take this opportunity to inform you that I've been drawing destiny every week since D1...
