Also, a WIP portrait - I know, tomorrow is the typical WIP day but I just love getting unique portrait commissions and couldn't help myself.

Finally, we have the paw and eye (like the veela, I'm keeping a few of these secret until they're released!). These were done more traditionally using the same brush set as I did for the Veela. Note the hint of hatch marks - I think the cover bled into all my pieces, lol!

Okay! So the day got a bit away from me due to various and sundry doctors stuff and being a grown up but: I've had my food, had my coffee, and we can talk about the other bits for the Veela! Like these:

This is the full linework for the Gilroy cover, with shading. I tried to pull in everything I could from those works into this. Also - there is SO MUCH DETAIL in here you can't really see in small scale, so I zoomed in on the rightmost skirt to show it. So. Many. Hatchmarks!
