One of my first published illustrations, back in the early 90’s.
I love birds
I love Yma Sumac
and I adore this sleeve (1951)

Finished result of the three little ones...one the most detailed artworks I’ve done so far.
Not sure if they need a background because I love the way they pop from the page now.
Perhaps I will get to that next year!😉

Finished starling artwork!
To me, starlings represent the beauty of the ordinary, which we often take so much for granted.
I heard a photographer/birder say: “those are ‘card pollution’.”
As in ‘birds that are too ordinary to be photographed and therefore a waste of time’.
Idiot.
Last year I started the birds in watercolor journey and I’m so grateful for this colorful ride!
My dad asked me “When are you planning to make some money from all this art?”
That was never on my mind.
I wish to hold onto my child-like way of having fun for as long as possible!
Goldfinch art is ready🤗
Almost a year since I started my birds in watercolor journey.
Main reason I share my art is because I want everyone to see and appreciate the beauty of these lovely creatures...
Thank you all so much for the sweet messages, follows, likes and retweets!❤️
