Couple more pictures of interest. Sometimes people will actually commission me to draw Gloria, an unexpected delight which bore fruit in the little art card in the first picture. The 2nd color pic was for fun while learning... Clip Studio I think?

Over the years Gloria has spent some time in the company of @jasperbluenc 's characters. The first two were drawn in Jasper's sketchbook where I enjoyed the gag of drawing a "reunion" in the same book a couple pages later, but in fact separated by 5 years time.

It seems I still draw Gloria differently all the time, but at least in these examples the design is hewing more to a cartoonish sensibility that I favor. These are from about 2005 to 2012 and show some color palette ideas along with some efforts to explore inking tools.

In a fun coincidence regarding my previous post about Gloria, I received this picture in the mail drawn by the always entertaining @F0XnR0LL as part of a mutual physical art exchange. I dig the details in the jeans and belt loops, and of course there had to be signature shoes!

I don't think I've talked much about Gloria, and after that upload of telegram stickers I figure I should share some more artwork of her. Originally conceived in 1996 as a contemporary for two other characters I was drawing for possible comics, she's the only one I still draw.

This was a special "Get Well" commission by CiciPhin who asked that I hold off posting until the card could be delivered. All's well that ends well.

WHAT'S IN THE BOX?!?!

The big project from today's art stream. Lots and lots of marker layering. Also heavily indebted to the work of Baron Engel since I was effectively given one of his drawings to put into this character composition.
