Castlevania honestly has this element to the Nth degree, they all basically have Pokédexes in every game with flavortext

Like, we all love Goombas, Koopas, Boos, and Thwomps, but Zelda also has a lot of enemies you see in every game that make you feel comfortable.

Arkham Asylum is probably the only Batman story in like 80+ years that actually commits to that portrayal and it blows my mind we don't see that more. I want more spooky gothic horror Batman.
