"Phyrexian Tick Selfie" AKA the first version of "Contagion Dispenser". WotC bought a revision because they decided last minute this would be too creature-y. Fair enough. It's a fine line with Phyrexians, but selfie pose may have been too much.

Can't believe I'm going to be in Abu Dhabi by tomorrow! (NB: image is Ellomyr, but I needed some skyscrapers for this post).

Also 'Haunted Mire' proofs! There's a giant [stone] head back there in the murk. Semi-intentional reference to StS. 😁

Process breakdown for 'Monumental Facade', in the MTG Phyrexia All is One set. 1) Rough sketches submitted to AD, 2) initial work in progress, 3) refinements/adjustments via prelim drawing 4) the final.

In honor of Colossal Cave's re-release from @cygnusent_ , I illustrated the most vivid scene within that legendary ur-game! For those who don't know, it's generally considered a forebearer of the adventure and CRPG genres.

While I'm waiting on another Phyrexia card to drop, here's one where I got to (sort of) immortalize my wife and kid on a MTG card! 'Guess Your Fate' for MTG: Unfinity.
