Some of my work is currently in the virtual group show ELEMENTS, curated by Sara Choudhrey. Featuring artists from the UK, Spain, Iran, Mexico, Australia & USA, the show highlights threads of interconnectivity in abstract art as a global visual language

A couple of sneak peeks of my globe heading up to next week. Can you tell what it is yet?

Sometimes I prefer the prep-sketches more than the finished pieces 🤫 My paintings can take months & learning when to let a work ‘be’/when to pursue further is an ongoing lesson. Thinking of framing a few for my upcoming show inc. this trio (which haven’t yet been painted… yet!)

A new work in progress… this painting is becoming quite meditative for me, I have no idea where it’s going but I’m pondering portals and wondering about worlds within worlds as I go on this journey & enjoy the flow...
Happy weekends folks 💜

Fellow artists, do you ever stand back, look at a new work & wonder, now where on earth did that come from? 😂 I think this one is finished… not entirely sure, it’s far from the painting I thought I was creating. However, enjoying these ink experiments & seeing where they lead!

Colour notes in the studio this week, a few close ups of 1 of several new paintings started since self-isolating with covid. Apparently covid sparks creativity?!

I started a mural this wk & thought I’d share a few progress pics. The design is based on drawings by residents who took part in ‘ through lockdown’ workshops with me in April, inspired by house plants kindly donated by 🪴

A couple weeks left to visit the group show ‘Remember the Future’ , exploring how we can renew our relationship to nature. Here’s 1 of 7 works I have in the exhibition: Gang Gang Sarah, an oil painting inspired by Tobagan folklore & the majesty of the silk cotton tree.
