The Nycadaemon, from TSR’s 1982 Monster Card Set. This guy is pretty tough, with a ton of spells, only being damaged by +2 magic weapons, and 100% immunity to first level spells with a 95% immunity for second level spells, and so on.

Dungeon Magazine issue 30 features cover art by Jim Holloway, a sewer full of dinosaurs, Elminster’s domicile, a rescue mission, a bar brawl, complete with a cardboard floor plan and figures, and an epic quest.

The Dragon, issue 27 sees the iconic title font used for the first time, and while some of the content is a bit of a slog, it redeems itself with stats for epic heroes Fafhrd, the Gray Mouser, and John Carter, a great bestiary, and a magic item from Gary.

The Androsphinx is pretty stacked.
Paws attack doing 2d6 damage each!Roars that cause panic, paralyze, and drain strength and stun for 2d6 rounds, while causing 2d8 damage! Ironically, even surrounding stone must make a save vs petrification or suffer a crack.
