This is what one would call an "End of an era" arc,this arc didn't hold anything back at all,you could tell there was a lot behind it, from both the Marines and the Pirates there was a history
On paper the Marines won but at severe costs that...

I suppose this is the equivalent of a filler episode because nothing really important happens here
They go to an island, helped a stranded pirate, he wanted to stay there to protect the animals, they left, that's it
It was okay.

Chapters 8 to 21 complete
Possibly the longest as well as quickest read of my life
It was quite the arc, we got:Nami, Buggy and the crew, the people of the town, lots of funny and intense moments, small but significant shots of backstory
Loved the dog
Could have been shorter tho
